OAO Severstal is the first Russian integrated steel producer and among the major thirteen global players in the steel industry. In 2006 Severstal produced 17.6 million tons of steel versus 16.8 million tons in 2005, with a total invoicing accounting for 12.4 billion dollars (10.4 in 2005).
